Another branch of horsemanship

Here you will find our projects. And the place of rest for the uncertain.
If it's for the horse, or the human, it's here that one can regroup for the next phase of their life.

Whether it is a gentle hand, a season of riding, or to refresh their memories if they have been abusing and mistreating their owners for too long and have become unmanageable. We spend time nurturing their strengths and drive in life, as well as teaching them what life is like sharing it with humans.

Current Projects:

Grace

This mare was headed for the slaughter house, she's in her late teens, is a very quiet little lady. She's would be a good horse for one on one time. She's a smaller 14 hands, and would be good for a light rider, is quiet with other horses, but seems to always be the odd one out. Needs to be someone's princess.

Adoption Fee : $600.00

Black Magic

Magic came off the range in Pemberton and is trying to learn to survive in OUR world.  She has a good mind but is having trouble trusting people. She has such amazing instincts that she doesn't need teaching. She needs to find confidence in people.  There is so much to learn from this mare.

Jessie J.

Ah... Jessie J. The most character I've ever seen in a little body. This one's Evans project, and she's got all the moves in the book. Lets see how the "cowboy" does with the little lady. She's got great groundmanners, but still has some growing up to do.

Neither are up for adoption at this time.

Successes:

One and Only Equinox or "Quinn"

Donated by Diane and Holly Hart in February of 2006

A rough start in life seemed to stunt this little guy, but he eventually came around. He was used for lessons, guiding, and was very good at being cute. Now he's a project for a younger enthusiast.

Allie

A great working horse, but had way too much attitude for her previous owners. Once her attitude was put to work she was a great working horse.

Flash

An eager learner at 10 years old and now started. 14hh Arab pony. And FUN!
Since he had no handling for a few years after being a stud, he took a month gentle, but now he's unstoppable!

F.V. Falisa

A very special gift from a friend. And another chance to learn about life.

This mare that went to a very loving home. Loves the trails and does well in kind hands. Started at 14, and now at 15 has been there and done so much.

Dana

Dana is a chestnut Thoroughbred mare, approximately 16 hh. Smart, loves to move, and is very eager to please. Green broke, never raced,  started naturally and loves it.
